Why use Hakyll?

I wanted a site that is

1. static (loads snappily and cheap or free to host),
2. preferably written in a programming language that I am comfortable in (i.e. Haskell or Python), and
3. simple and clean (i.e. not the majority of Wordpress sites).

Hakyll checks the first two boxes, and the third is entirely up to me. I hope you find the attempt reasonable. The layout is modified from Erik Kronberg’s site.

At this time, I am not planning on adding a comment system (e.g. disqus); please drop me an email for questions or responses.
